Zuke's Mini Naturals Dog Treats Review

Need a small tasty treat especially for training sessions? These Mini Naturals could be exactly what you're looking for!

Who is Zukes?

It all started with one man and one dog. In 1995 Patrick Meiering was on a hike in the Colorado Mountains with his Labrador Retreiver, Zuke. Noticing Zuke had become exhausted, Patrick broke off a piece of his energy bar and tossed it to him. Zuke perked right up and the rest, as they say, is history!

Realizing pets need healthy, all-natural treats, Patrick set out to provide just that and a company was born. Zuke's is located in Durango, Colorado and all of the meat, fruit, and veggies are sourced from the USA with the exception of the rabbit and venison which come from New Zealand.  Just like I do with my recipes, they test the "tastiness" of the treats by feeding them to their own pets and dogs at veterinary hospitals and humane societies.

What Did Kirby Think?

Zukes obviously knows it's the nose first, then the tastebuds.  We received our review package late so I had to let Kirby taste test all six flavors right away.  I had his full attention as I opened each bag to remove a few treats.  His nose was on major red alert!  Watching him scarf them down I can say he gives them four paws and a wag!

Final Word

These are great treats for training due to their size.  I've easily sliced some smaller so Kirby isn't eating too much during our training sessions. The price is reasonable so I will purchase these in the future.
