Kirby has a bright white smile and rarely has bad breath which I believe is another great benefit from eating wholesome foods.  Usually his bad breath comes from chewing on a smelly bully stick or those rare times he sneaks a litter crusted cat poop "treat".  At almost seven years of age his teeth are strong and healthy. We have access to a meat processing company so I can stock up on plenty of offal for Kirby.  I purchased one package of Tripe which I thought was expensive at $6.  Tripe is the cow's stomach and considered a delicacy in many countries.  The Paleo Diet, a "back to what our ancestors ate lifestyle diet" which is gaining popularity in the United States, recommends tripe.

Lamb is quite popular in Italy where they have been raising sheep since the dawn of time. These animals provide wool, milk for cheese and ricotta, and of course meat. Especially in the spring lamb is generally served as a main course. Have I mentioned I'm half Italian? Hence, I love Italian food of which spaghetti and pizza are just the tip of this delicious cuisine.
