We have access to a meat processing company so I can stock up on plenty of offal for Kirby.  I purchased one package of Tripe which I thought was expensive at $6.  Tripe is the cow's stomach and considered a delicacy in many countries.  The Paleo Diet, a "back to what our ancestors ate lifestyle diet" which is gaining popularity in the United States, recommends tripe.

Chicken livers are an excellent source of high quality protein and a rich source of Vitamins A, D and virtually all of the B vitamins. They are also relatively inexpensive so stock up and bake these easy meatballs.  I save a lot of time when making meatballs by using a cookie dough scoop.  They may not be perfectly round but Kirby doesn't seem to mind.

It's spring yet it's a chilly 54 degrees and raining so I decided Kirby would enjoy some soup this week. Actually soup is good any time of the year since it can be eaten cold or warmed up.  Soup contains water which is a great benefit to a dog's digestive system for new cell formation, detoxification, removal of waste, temperature regulation, nutrient absorption and digestion. There's a reason people say soup is good for the soul... and cold days... and sick ones... and, well you get the idea.

Some say the allergies are grain related, others say the allergies are starch related.  Then there are those who say allergies are caused from repetitive digestion of the same ingredient.
